2021 Spring Virtual Advanced Conference

Please join our three-day VIRTUAL advanced level forum focusing on the processes and procedures relating to export controls and compliance, plus topical and timely policy and regulatory issues for the experienced exporter.  Agenda topics will address a variety of advanced issues of concern to the international trade community in a more intimate setting with attendees from industry, government and other international trade specialists.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Experienced trade professionals who can affect internal processes and procedures for greatest impact and success in international business.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

The deadline to register is on or before 5:00 PM EDT (UTC -4) Friday, May 14, 2021. Assuring we have time to complete our back-end actions is critical to a successful Event. So, register now and complete payment prior to the start date.


RECORDINGS

By participating, you agree not to audio record or video record any part of the conference under any circumstances unless you obtain express written permission from SIA.


SUBSTITUTIONS

Attendee must notify SIA’s Business Manager by email at least 48 hrs in advance of the conference if you wish to send a substitute participant. Registered attendees may not "share" a single registration.


CANCELLATIONS

Notice of cancellation must be by email or phone. Please contact our Business Office at sia@siaed.org or 703-946-5683.

Cancellations may be transferred to a current Event or a refund will be issued minus the $35.00 cancellation fee.


REFUND REQUESTS AS A RESULT OF TECHNICAL ISSUES

It is the responsibility of the attendee to confirm system requirements and test their computers prior to the start of the conference.

If a technical failure at the attendee’s home or workplace prevents access to the live conference, refunds will not be made. Please log into the event 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Membership in SIA and attendance at SIA functions is subject to the observance of SIA’s Code of Conduct.  Any member or attendee who violates this Code is subject to expulsion from membership and may be excluded from future SIA events.  The meetings and functions of SIA are designed to facilitate the free exchanges of ideas and information.  Information from these sessions is not for attribution or publication.  Recording devices may not be used. SIA members and attendees are expected to uphold the highest standards of personal conduct at all SIA functions.  Members and/or attendees shall not solicit business or otherwise seek any private or personal financial gain in attending or participating in any SIA meeting or function; including the distribution of material not approved in advance by the SIA Board.  Membership/event attendee lists shall not be used or sold for any commercial or promotional purpose.


SIA PROGRAMS - QUALIFICATION FOR CLE/CPE CREDITS

SIA Conferences and Seminars may qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits, depending upon the specific jurisdictional requirements. Please check your local jurisdiction.
